Laura Z Gras, PT, DPT, DSc, MS, GCS has a Doctor of Science degree from Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions in Geriatrics, a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree, a Masters in Health Services Administration, and a Geronotology Certificate. She is a Board-Certified Geriatric Clinical Specialist through the American Physical Therapy Association and has been trained in NeuroDevelopment Treatment and vestibular rehabilitation. She is the course coordinator for Neurologic Rehabilitation I. Her area of research is in improving balance and reducing falls in the geriatric and neurologic populations in which she's had many peer review publications and presentations at the regional, national, and international conferences. She is a reviewer for the Journal of Geriatric Physical Therapy, is a nominating committee member on the National Interprofessional Education Consortium of the American Council of Academic Physical Therapy, and is on APTA's Awards Committee- Subcommittee on Lectures.
