Laura Z Gras,PT,DPT,DSc,MS,GCS has a Doctor of Science degree from Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions in Geriatrics, a Doctor of Physical Therapy, a Masters in Health Services Administration, and a Geronotology Certificate. She is a Geriatric Clinical Specialist through the American Physical Therapy Association and has been trained in NeuroDevelopment Treatment and Vestibular Rehabilitation. She teaches Neurologic Rehabilitation I & II and mentors student projects in case reports. She is the Curriculum and Assessment Coordinator for the Physical Therapy Program and the chair of Ithaca College's Academic Policies Committee. Her area of research is in improving balance and reducing falls in the geriatric and neurologic populations. She is a reviewer for the Journal of Geriatric Physical Therapy.
