Jana Waller is a Clinical Assistant Professor, Chairperson, and Fieldwork Coordinator in the Department of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology. She is honored to work with the wonderful students, faculty, administration, and staff at Ithaca College. Ms. Waller serves as the department chair and program director, teaches both undergraduate and graduate courses, provides clinical supervision, and coordinates externship and student teaching placements for graduate students.
Ms. Waller is passionate about strengths-based, reflective teaching and learning and is dedicated to facilitating client and family centered approaches to treatment. She has worked as a speech-language pathologist in a variety of settings and has loved them all! Her background includes work in educational, hospital, skilled nursing ,rehabilitation, and home-based settings.
Ms. Waller has an M.S. from Ithaca College in Speech-Language Pathology, a B.S. from the University of Washington in Speech and Hearing Sciences., a B.A. from SUNY Albany in Psychology and is a member of the Alpha Eta Society-The National Scholastic Honor Society for the Allied Health Professions.
