James Minas is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Management at the Ithaca College School of Business.
Professor Minas' research uses quantitative methods to gain insights into complex management problems and to develop decision support tools. Application areas he has worked on include: disaster preparedness and response, supply chain coordination and healthcare delivery. His research appears in journals such as Annals of Operations Research, Decision Support Systems, European Journal of Operational Research and Omega.
Professor Minas has taught undergraduate and Master's level courses in: Predictive Analytics, Prescriptive Analytics, Operations Management and Business Statistics. He holds a PhD in Operations Research from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology.
