Bill Langan is an Assistant Professor of Acting, teaching a variety of classes in both the BFA and BA programs. These currently include, Sophomore Scene Study, Acting Shakespeare, Audition Technique and Acting 1, 3 & 4. Bill has previously taught classes at Fordham University, Southern Oregon University and at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival.
He has been a professional actor for over 20 years, appearing at some of the most prestigious theatres in the country including The Guthrie Theatre, The New York Shakespeare Festival/Public Theatre, The Shakespeare Theatre (Wash. D.C.), The Huntington Theatre and six seasons at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, among many others. He has also had the opportunity to work with some of the finest directors in America, including Bartlett Sher, Frank Galati, Douglas Hughes, John Rando, Gail Edwards, Ken Albers and Libby Appel. He has appeared in television programs on all four major broadcast networks, as well as several national commercials and voice-overs.
He recieved his MFA from the Yale School of Drama and a BS in Political Science from King's College in Wilkes-Barre, PA. He is a member of Actor's Equity Association, Screen Actors Guild and the American Federation of Radio and Television Artists.
