Scholarly Work

My research interests focus on the nature of design processes, social systems design, and design education. In these areas I have written several books and many articles. I belong to several groups that are good avenues for students, practitioners, and scholars to connect with one another, including the American Educational Research Association, the International Society for Performance Improvement, and the Association for Educational Communications and Technology. I am a fellow of the Learning Development Institute.
