Amsterdam
In 2005 I attended a colloquium on "Building the Scientific Mind" sponsored by the Learning Development Institute and held at the Institute for Social Studies in The Hague, Netherlands. It was a very interesting meeting of scholars from around the world. Afterward I was able to spend several days enjoying the sites in Amsterdam.
