Kulmusik, the Ithaca College School of Music's contemporary chamber ensemble, will perform a free concert on Friday, November 14. Beginning at 8:15 p.m. in the Hockett Family Recital Hall, the concert will preview the program the group will perform at the 20th International New Music Festival, Sound Ways, in St. Petersburg, Russia, this November.

The Russian concert will take place at Glinka Hall of the Philharmonic, one of St. Petersburg's most beautiful and prestigious halls.

The Ocotillo Winds will present a free concert on Wednesday, October 29, at 8:15 p.m. in Ford Hall. Primarily a woodwind trio, their 2008 tour program features the addition of flutist Elizabeth Buck with their regular trio: oboist Martin Schuring; clarinetist Robert Spring; and bassoonist Albie Micklich.

A free evening of chamber music for clarinet and piano will be presented on Friday, March 28 at 8:15 p.m. in the Hockett Family Recital Hall. Clarinetist Richard Faria and pianist Jeffery Meyer will be the featured performers. Both faculty members in the School of Music, their program will feature "Romances" by Robert Schumann, "Vier Stucke" by Alban Berg, Stockhausen’s "Amour," and other music by Zemlinsky, Tchemberdji, and Davidovsky.
