Paula Twomey joined the faculty of Ithaca College in 2009, after having taught in public education for 31 years. She has a B.A. in Spanish language and literature from SUNY Albany, and an M.A. from Middlebury College (Madrid Program). During her career she has been the recipient of a Rockefeller Foundation grant to travel to Spain to research cultural sites, an NEH grant to study Federico García Lorca, and an Einaudi Grant (Cornell University) for writing curriculum on Cervantes’ Don Quixote. Her travel experience includes Spain, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Guatemala, and Cuba (legally). Paula has published several Spanish textbooks with Teacher’s Discovery.
