With a background in Ethnic Studies that includes a B.A. from the University of California, San Diego in 1998 and a Ph.D. from the University of Southern California in 2009, I relish my role as the coordinator of the minor in Asian American Studies for which students at IC fought long and hard. In addition, I teach courses in the Department of Sociology in the area of Social Change.

My courses thus include the following:

• Intro to Asian American Studies

• Race & Love in Asian America

• Asian American Race Rebels

• Asian Exiles, Refugees, and Diaspora

• Asian American Communities

• Crisis & Opportunity

• Sociology of Sports
