3-D Models from Great Spaces Course
These models were created by students in my introductory course in Urban Design. Students learned to construct "as is" models of local spaces, and then proposed "remedies" to improve the spaces, following course principles. Their results are especially impressive given that most had no prior architectural or computer experience!
Paris Short Term Study Abroad, summer 2010
These pictures are from a 10-day course in Paris in May/June 2010 led by Professors O'Connell and Germann. "Art and Politics in Paris: Reading Power in Space and Image" focused on sites and works that served to represent, consolidate, or challenge political claims to power in France, with focus on the 16th to the 19th centuries.
