These photos were taken by students in August, 2012, while on tour teaching and performing in Beijing, China, as part of the 2nd Annual US Schools of Music International Festival for Violin and Piano. Schools represented included Oberlin, San Francicso Conservatory, Boston University, NYU Steinhardt School, and the Ithaca College School of Music.

The Lórien Trio
The Lórien Trio, formed in 2008, is already nationally recognized as a prizewinner in the prestigious Fischoff Chamber Music Competition. Violinist Nicholas DiEugenio, Cellist Ashley Bathgate, and Pianist Ilya Poletaev are each renowned artists as soloists, chamber musicians, teachers, and experts in both early and contemporary music. The Trio works together to combine the members' individual artistic temperaments and areas of expertise to arrive at fresh, honest interpretations of the repertoire's masterpieces.
