Ornetti is an optimistic big-band composition dedicated to Ornette Coleman. This piece won the Army Blues' 25th Anniversary Composition Contest in 1997, and which they subsequently recorded on their 2006 CD "With Gratitude."  This demo recording was performed by the Army Blues, with Mike Titlebaum as soprano sax soloist in 1997.
