EXSS 61000 Survey of Statistical Methods
This course is designed to introduce graduate students to a variety of statistical methods. Students will explore the application of these techniques through reading and conducting research. Students will present findings at a research conference.
A basis understanding of statistics is expected. Students with limited statistical experience should be prepared to seek out extra resources as needed. Basis statistics will be reviewed at the start of the semester and students are expected to have read chapters 1 & 2 in Discovering Statistics Using SPSS (Field, 2009) for the first class meeting.
