Laura Z Gras,PT,DPT,DSc,MS,GCS has a Doctor of Science degree from Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions in Geriatrics, a Doctor of Physical Therapy, a Masters in Health Services Administration, and a Geronotology Certificate. She is a Geriatric Clinical Specialist through the American Physical Therapy Association and has been certified in NeuroDevelopment Treatment and Vestibular Rehabilitation. She teaches Neurologic Rehabilitation I and II, Neurologic Examination, Research III, and Advanced Clinical Reasoning. Her area of research is in improving balance and reducing falls in the geriatric and neurologic populations. She is the chair of APTA's Scholarship and Awards Committee and is on NYPTA's Research Committee. She is also a reviewer for the Journal of Geriatric Physical Therapy.
