Kathleen BuccieriAssociate Professor and Director CEPhysical Therapy Rochester
|
A little bit about me: I earned a BS in Physical Therapy from Ithaca College in 1982, an MS from Rocky Mountain University in 2000, and a tDPT from Massachusetts General Hospital-Institute of Health Professions in 2006.
I have enjoyed the practice of physical therapy in outpatient, rehabilitation and home care settings. Initially passionate in the area of adult neuro-rehab, I gradually became interested in pediatrics and have focused the last 20 years of my career on pediatrics culminating in 1999 with a Board Certified Specialization in Pediatrics. I have enjoyed clinic, home care and community based environments as a clinician and an administrator. I love working with families to seek the most beneficial approach to advance their child's motor abilities!
As an alumni of Ithaca College and an experienced clinical instructor and center coordinator of clinical education, I am proud to be the current Director of Clinical Education for the Physical Therapy Department! Clinicians interested in accepting Ithaca College PT students for clinical education coursework may email me directly to initiate the process of setting up an affiliation. (kbuccieri@ithaca.edu)
