Voice Faculty Master Class in MA on Dec. 15
Members of the Ithaca College Voice Faculty will perform Handel's Messiah with the Blackstone Valley Community Chorus on Friday, December 14th at 7PM at St. Mary's Church in Uxbridge, MA (map) .
The following morning (Saturday, Dec. 15) the members of the Ithaca College Voice Faculty will offer a master class for voice students interested in pursuing a music major or minor at Ithaca College. Interested students and voice teachers should contact Ivy Walz.
Master Class Details: SATURDAY, DECEMBER 15 9AM-11AM
Students should bring 1 or 2 solo songs they are ready to sing from memory with piano accompaniment. Each student will have time to perform one song and receive comments from the faculty members on their performance. There may or may not be time to sing a second song.
Students should arrive at the beginning of the class, promptly at 9AM warmed up and ready to sing and should expect to stay until the class ends at 11AM.
Each student may bring their own accompanist, or one will be provided for the class.
There will be time for questions about the Ithaca College Music School and the Voice majors and minors at the reception following the performance of Handel's Messiah and after the master class.
