This oil  painting, "Arlo's Tractor" is my neighbor''s International Harverster 'M'. Virtually indestructable and reliable it is considered one of the all time great tractor models. I painted it in the raking light of late afternoon in the waning days of summer. Like an aging plow horse it snoozed in the pasture for most of the year but if called upon it was ready to get right back to work.
