Writing for the Professions (WRTG-31100) teaches ethics and argumentation through case studies involving business, government, law, and medicine. Writing assignments focus on the more rhetorical forms: policy statements, position papers, reports, dossiers, briefs, and journal articles. Course themes vary but cut across and encourage dialogue and debate on major issues among different professions. Recommended for students interested in law, management, public policy, and political advocacy.
