Internships & Fieldwork

Internships and fieldwork in the sports industry are a requirement in the SPMM program at Ithaca and are a necessity for employment in the sport and recreation industry.

These experiences should be practiced in a segment of the industry that you would like to work, so you can explore the requirements and opportunities of the specific segment.

I am available to help you work through your thought process to better understand your motivations and interests, but you must do your own research to find potential opportunities. Once you have identified opportunities that interest you, we will work together to develop your portfolio and application.

I will also help to prepare you for interviewing with mock interview opportunities and talking points during your interview process.

Once you have obtained an internship or fieldwork, we will work through the administrative process
