Dr. Hosbach-Cannon joined the Ithaca College faculty in Fall 2016 and is an Associate Professor in the Department of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology. She earned her Ph.D. from Syracuse University under the guidance of Dr. Soren Lowell, and has been a licensed clinician since 2010 with a primary background in Inpatient Rehabilitation. Clinically, Dr. Hosbach-Cannon supervises individual diagnostics and therapy in the Ewing Speech and Hearing Clinic for a wide variety of populations (voice disorders, gender affirming communication modification, aphasia, and cognitive communication disorders), as well as voice/swallowing diagnostics at Cayuga ENT. 

Currently, her research focuses on the following: objective and subjective measures of laryngeal physiology and kinematics, improving protocols for gender affirming communication modification, and utilizing ultrasonography in laryngeal assessment.
